About The Position

Our Multifamily Sales team, Walker & Dunlop Investment Sales (WDIS), represents premier multifamily owners, developers, and operators, offering top-tier investment advisory services. The Senior Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the WDIS team by performing financial modeling of multifamily assets, creating high-quality marketing materials, and conducting in-depth market analysis. This position is ideal for individuals with strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to enhance their quantitative abilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Finance and/or Real Estate concentration preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in Finance, Real Estate or related field preferred
  • Excellent financial modeling skills including thorough knowledge of Excel
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Word
  • Ability to learn Salesforce and other company software as needed
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes
  • Courtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and other stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Financial analysis of multifamily opportunities (existing, value-add, and ground-up developments) using the proprietary WDIS underwriting model.
  • Assist in the research, writing, and proofing of marketing offering memorandums (OMs) and Broker Opinion of Values (BOVs).
  • Research and maintain databases tracking Investment Sales activity, construction pipelines, and other relevant real estate metrics.
  • Develop and maintain market knowledge through industry publications, economic forecasts, and news.
  • Assist in the creation and editing of "state of the market" presentations for conferences and client meetings.
  • Conduct transaction coordination and due diligence coordination for the Investment Sales team.
  • Maintain files to ensure all mandatory disclosures are completed and sent for review and approval.
  • Contact interested parties to remind them of missing documents.
  • Implement a quality-controlled system for efficient deal management.
  • Monitor and assess sales progress to meet deadlines and release contingencies.
  • Provide preliminary audits of files for management review.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
