The University also provides benefits and a convenient location near various amenities. The Senior Analyst, IT Security position reports to the Senior Manager, IT Security. The incumbent is responsible for managing identities and related access, documenting processes, and gathering intelligence and security information as part of the University’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) process. This role involves participating in day-to-day activities to mitigate IT security risks at the operational level.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience related to Identity and Access Management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Interpersonal skills: Tact, diplomacy, Autonomy and professionalism.
  • Adaptability and ability to take on new challenges.
  • Bilingual: French and English, spoken and written.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Saviynt would be considered a strong asset.
  • CISSP Certification would be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of RACF or IBM ISIM/ISAM is an asset.
  • Experience in information security is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all technical aspects of identity lifecycle with its associated accesses in order to enable the right individuals and processes to have access to the right resources at the right time.
  • Operate, configure, program and maintain security platforms such as, Identity and access systems, security information and event management solutions, vulnerability scanners, or other security related solutions within the framework of IT Security operations.
  • Conduct identity analytics and intelligence gathering to outline trends, patterns and highlight security concerns and metrics.
  • Act as subject matter expert in regards to the operation of the University’s security platforms in support of individuals or groups such as the University’s security architect, project teams, the service desk, departments and faculties.
  • Participate in the design of solutions to problems.
