About The Position
The Sr. Analyst Informatics (Encounter Technical Analyst) is responsible to analyze and document business data and processes, conduct root cause analysis, and create reports or other solutions as needed to support business needs. This position is responsible to conduct analysis or produce reports of varied claim and encounter data.
Requirements
- 1+ years of relevant programming or analytical experience
- Development and experience with writing complex queries
- Experience in working in a data warehouse environment
- Ability to work with large data sets from multiple data sources
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present information to various audiences
- Strong collaboration skills within and across teams
- Proficient in SQL, able to write and modify queries, interpret results, conduct root cause analysis, develop short- and long-term solutions following through to completion
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects forward simultaneously and be responsible for the results
- Ability to establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

- QNXT or Edifecs experience
- Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) files
- Experience with test script development and execution
- Experience with Agile methodologies
Responsibilities
- Analyze and document business data and processes

- Conduct analysis or produce reports of varied claim and encounter data
- Write simple to complex SQL queries, procedures, and reports on both an ad hoc and production basis for analysis of data trends or anomalies impacting business success
- Proactively define, identify, develop, and implement system enhancements or modifications to support business strategic goals
- Assist and participate in the development and prioritization of system updates
- Execute test scripts and report outcomes or defects
