About The Position

This role involves shaping the future of JetBlue's onboard digital experience, including seatback screens, Wi-Fi, and technology that enhances the flight experience. The Senior Analyst, Inflight Entertainment will drive innovation in customer-facing inflight technology, such as the seatback entertainment system and Fly-Fi®. Responsibilities include building new features, analyzing data, and supporting product launches. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and external partners to realize JetBlue's product vision. It is ideal for an organized, self-starting individual passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences through technology. The Senior Analyst Inflight Entertainment reports to the Manager, Product Development and contributes to the execution of JetBlue’s long-term roadmap for customer-facing digital products onboard. The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-oriented, detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. They should be eager to add measurable value to the JetBlue customer experience and innovate across the inflight digital product portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
  • Three (3) years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to solve problems and be solution oriented in a time-constrained environment
  • Available for moderate overnight travel (30%)
  • Able to work flexible work hours and be available for emergency response on short notice
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in product development, digital experience, or customer engagement
  • Strong interest in technology, aviation, and consumer products
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design tools like Figma is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on the ongoing development of our next generation seatback entertainment product, including personalization, seatback ordering, partnership integrations, content merchandising, and connected features, ultimately ideating new ways to maximize customer engagement. New functionality should align with emerging consumer-products on the ground, such as streaming platforms
  • Act as the primary owner of both seatback and Fly-Fi feature roadmaps, including outlining requirements, creating timelines, and overseeing the seamless release of new functionality across inflight touchpoints.
  • Assist in the development of inflight entertainment analytics, pulling reporting on top-performing content and making performance-based recommendations on future content decisions
  • Communicate new features, functionalities and content initiatives to internal teams including Brand, Corporate Communications, and Social
  • Research and share emerging technology and entertainment trends to inform future innovations to the Fly-Fi and entertainment experience across JetBlue platforms
  • Other duties as assigned
