About The Position

Priceline is seeking a Senior Analyst, FP&A to support Technology Finance. The role serves as a key financial partner to the Technology organization, owning planning, forecasting, and reporting for technology spending, including software, cloud infrastructure, and IT consulting. The analyst helps the business understand returns on technology investments and supports strategic decisions while upholding Priceline’s standards for ethics, honesty, transparency, and compliance.

The position works closely with the CTO and Technology leadership, as well as engineering, product and technology enablement, accounting, procurement, legal, and other partners. It supports technology budgeting and forecasting, month-end close, spend analysis, leadership reporting, investment business cases, vendor contract work, and improvements to reporting and FP&A processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or another quantitative discipline.
• At least 7 years of related professional experience; FP&A experience is required.
• Proven ability to think critically, perform comprehensive analysis, synthesize data, and present insights clearly and concisely.
• Advanced Excel knowledge and computer proficiency.
• Comfort partnering with technical stakeholders and translating technology concepts—such as cloud consumption, software licensing models, and capitalization rules—into financial terms and vice versa.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently, coordinate others’ efforts, and collaborate with people at a wide range of levels.
• History of demonstrating Priceline’s values: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability, and Trust.
• Unquestionable integrity and ethics.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting a technology organization or working with software and cloud cost data.
• Ability and interest in learning and using tools such as OneStream, Fintastic, BigQuery, and cloud cost management platforms such as AWS Cost Explorer and CloudZero.

Responsibilities

• Act as an embedded financial partner to the CTO and Technology leadership team, connecting Finance rigor with Technology execution.
• Own planning, budgeting, and forecasting for Technology spending, including software licensing and subscriptions, cloud infrastructure, and IT consulting and professional services.
• Partner with engineering, product and technology enablement, accounting, and procurement teams to track spending against budget, identify variances, and surface cost-optimization opportunities.
• Support month-end close for Technology accounts, including accrual support and variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year, with clear explanations of key drivers.
• Build and maintain reporting and dashboards that provide Technology and Finance leadership with visibility into performance, and conduct reviews across leadership and functional teams.
• Support business cases and ROI analysis for major technology investments.
• Partner with legal and procurement on vendor contract renewals and negotiations.
• Help evolve and automate Technology Finance reporting infrastructure and contribute to broader FP&A process improvements.
• Manage ad hoc requests and support special projects for Technology and Finance leadership.
