About The Position

Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), the Senior Analyst FP&A serves as a strategic business partner to West’s Global Corporate Functions. The Senior Analyst, FP&A responsibilities include supporting Corporate functional leaders by delivering financial insights, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical support. The Senior Analyst partners closely with leadership to provide transparency into financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
  • 4-7 years of experience in Accounting and/or Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Knowledge of SAP HANA and SAP BW/BI preferred.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization and promote a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent oral and written skills; interpersonal skills, fact finder skills, active listening, critical thinking, time management, problem sensitivity and project management skills.
  • Ability to leverage technology to improve, analyze and report results.
  • Ability to present findings and industry insights to senior leaders across the company.
  • Strong conceptual thinking aptitude and ability to persuade and influence others.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex, dynamic, and challenging environment with strong inherent project execution skills, including prioritizing tasks, balancing workload between multiple projects, anticipating next steps, adapting to changing situations and project scope.
  • Excellent relationship skills and client-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a financial business partner to Corporate function leaders, providing insights, analytics, and decision support.
  • Lead monthly financial review discussions with Corporate stakeholders, analyzing results, variances, risks, and opportunities.
  • Contribute to monthly executive expense management summaries for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), highlighting performance drivers and forward-looking risks.
  • Perform functional planning, forecasting, and reporting activities for Corporate functions.
  • Support the annual budget process, including analysis preparation, scenario modeling, and presentation of results to management.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data within SAP and related financial systems.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and business priorities.
