About The Position

The Senior Analyst will be responsible for the data capture, analysis & reporting of data information to assist the Trinity Health leadership team achieve operational efficiency. Responsible for auditing of department information, producing reports & suggesting improvements to processes. Provides knowledge & expertise in the program, services & applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field or combination of education and experience
  • One (1) to five (5) years of industry/private industry finance experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with relational databases & knowledge of query tools & statistical software (Tableau, Sequal, VPA, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel including developing spreadsheets with complex formulas, pivot tables, macros.
  • Ability to manipulate large sets of data & possess strong analytical organization, presentation & problemsolving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Researches, collects & analyzes information.
  • Identifies opportunities, develops solutions, & leads through resolution.
  • Collaborates on performance improvement activities as indicated by outcomes in program efficiency & patient experience.
  • Responsible for distribution of analytical reports.
  • Utilizes multiple system applications to perform analysis, create reports & develop educational materials.
  • Incorporates basic knowledge of TH policies, practices & processes to ensure quality, confidentiality & safety are prioritized.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of departmental processes & procedures & ability to readily acquire new knowledge.
  • Research & compiles information to support ad-hoc operational projects & initiatives.
  • Synthesizes & analyzes data & provides detailed summaries including graphical data presentations illustrating trends & recommending practical options or solutions while considering the impact on business strategy & supporting leadership decision making.
  • Leverages program & operational data & measurements to define & demonstrate progress, ROI & impacts.
  • Maintains a Working Knowledge of applicable federal, state & local laws / regulations, Trinity Health Integrity & Compliance Program & Code of Conduct, as well as other policies, procedures & guidelines in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical & professional behavior & safe work practices.
  • Captures, analyzes & validates data to maximize the information provided for clinical quality &/or financial performance improvement using qualitative & quantitative techniques.
  • Assures the integrity of the Charge Description Master (CDM) & the charge capture process by providing sound advice & leadership as it relates to individual procedures charged, CPT codes, billing requirement, reimbursement & compliance issues.
  • Supports the operation & maintenance of the Decision Support System on an ongoing basis, to ensure integrity of data.
  • Follows established schedule & carefully validates data & resolves errors; prepares & distributes quarterly reports; maintains open lines of communication with local & Trinity Health leaders.
