About The Position

Reporting to the Manager, Control Systems Engineering, the Senior Analyst, Control Systems Engineering is responsible for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of process control, network, and ancillary system solutions across terminal operations. This role supports the reliability, maintenance, enhancement, and performance of control systems infrastructure while ensuring compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline; equivalent technical certification in process control systems will be considered.
  • Completion of HMI and/or control systems training courses.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of client-level technical support experience.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of progressively responsible experience supporting industrial control systems and operational technologies.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, databases, and industrial control systems.
  • Experience supporting and maintaining process control, automation, and HMI systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair specialized computer, networking, and control equipment in industrial environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain terminal network infrastructure to ensure reliable system performance and uptime.
  • Develop, maintain, and document process control and HMI systems, including preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate and implement control system, telecommunications, and security system upgrades.
  • Provide technical support for site-specific applications and collaborate with Corporate IT teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve control system, network, and operational technology issues.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational standards.
  • Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to support maintenance, upgrades, and project execution.
  • Prepare reports, maintain documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as required.
