About The Position

The CIWS portfolio within the Naval Power Strategic Business Unit has an opening for a Senior Analyst, Contracts in support of the Land Based Phalanx Weapon System (LPWS) program. The LPWS team works closely with our Army customer to maintain the weapon system as well as to integrate new technologies. The Analyst will be responsible for administering a large 5-year contract with the Army. This role will work closely with the Program Management, Finance, and Supply Chain functions to ensure compliance with the contract and with company policies, process contract modifications, and work closely with the Government customer to resolve and address issues as they arise. Additionally, this role will have the opportunity to work periodically with our DCS International portfolio, providing support to our Contracts Manager when needed to develop proposals, process Submit Gates, and award new contracts. It is anticipated this role will be allocated 75% to the Army contract and 25% to our DCS portfolio.

Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Experience in Contracts, Subcontracts, Procurement or similar.
  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with U.S. Government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFARS) and related government regulations.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills to influence business decisions and outcomes.
  • Active Secret clearance is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities
