About The Position

WHOOP is hiring a Senior Analyst, Commercial Analytics to join the Commercial Analytics team and serve as a key analytics partner to our growing Wholesale business. In this role, you will translate data into actionable insights that inform channel strategy, maximize partner performance, and identify new opportunities for growth. You will own critical analysis and reporting across the channel and help build the analytical foundation needed to scale the business across regions and partner networks. This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a related discipline, ideally within a retail, wholesale, sales, B2B, or consumer products environment.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale transactional data, with the ability to independently move from a business question to analysis, insight, and recommendation.
  • Demonstrated experience building reporting and analytical tools that enable stakeholders to understand performance and make informed business decisions.
  • Strong business acumen and experience partnering with commercial or sales stakeholders, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear recommendations and actions.
  • Experience with wholesale or retail analytics, including sell-in and sell-through performance, pricing, promotions, trade spend, or retailer-provided data.
  • Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Sigma and familiarity with retailer data sources, including POS platforms such as SPS Commerce, is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key analytics partner to the Wholesale team, analyzing performance across partners, products, doors, and geographies to identify opportunities that drive revenue and margin growth.
  • Own analysis of sell-in and sell-through performance, pricing, promotions, and partner economics to assess channel performance, inventory position, consumer demand, and future growth opportunities.
  • Build scalable reporting and analytical tools that give Wholesale and regional sales leadership visibility into channel performance, partnering with Analytics Engineering to ensure data is accurate, consistent, and trusted.
  • Support commercial planning and forecasting by developing wholesale inputs and channel-level drivers, and conduct market sizing and opportunity analyses to inform partner selection and regional expansion.
  • Uncover consumer and channel insights across retail partners and collaborate with Marketing and other cross-functional teams to strengthen go-to-market strategy and understand the impact of investments supporting wholesale growth.
