About The Position

A Senior Analyst assists the broking team in all aspects of client relationship management which includes managing the placement and service of fine arts insurance and related needs for clients located across the USA for the Fine Art Division. Clients include many major museums, respective exhibitions, universities, colleges, public entities, commercial galleries and private and corporate collections. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and P & C insurance license preferred
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and the ability to navigate within the Internet required.
  • Solid time management and organizational skills
  • Must be a team player who can take feedback as well as give it
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, numeracy and basic math skills
  • Ability to work independently and with other colleagues
  • Capable of working well under pressure and able to meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail along with the ability to multi-task
  • Serve as back up for other team members when others are out of office
  • Ability to work ahead of deadlines and meet them
  • Manage individual expenses and maintain accurate expense reports and records submitting timely

Nice To Haves

  • Foreign language proficiency, particularly in French, Spanish or Italian, is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manages and handles fine art and collectible insurance needs of all assigned clients
  • Manages all contact with assigned clients - providing clear communication with clients on coverage, renewals, changes and all aspects of insurance placement
  • Collects submission materials, markets and places insurance with both domestic carriers and the London market, providing clear communication with underwriters and carrier partners
  • Prepares insurance proposals, analyzes quotations and makes recommendations for the appropriate insurance program to clients
  • Issues policies and endorsements on behalf of carriers
  • Invoices premiums including annual premiums and endorsements and handles accounting follow-up
  • Maintains operational excellence including compliance with all Willis and regulatory procedures
  • Ability to promote and sell our products and services
  • Attends, networks and promotes Willis Fine Art at museum and gallery events and conferences as assigned
  • Assists with various special projects as needed
