About The Position

As the central representative for G&I Operations, you will partner with operators, leadership, Product Owners, Application Support, and technology teams to identify challenges, define requirements, and lead enhancements across Control Room applications. You will play a critical role in ensuring the voice of operations is reflected throughout the product lifecycle, translating immediate operational needs into long-term strategic capabilities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
4–8 years of experience in power system operations, engineering, or a related field.
Strong expertise in Generation & Interchange operations within a control room or reliability environment.
Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and process improvements.
Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
Ability to influence without authority and collaborate across multiple teams.
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights.
Proficiency with tools such as EMD, RTD, EMS, and OpLog; intermediate MS Office skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous G&I experience.
NERC certification.
Experience with MISO or other RTO operating desks.

Responsibilities

Provide operational support and serve as an expert on G&I tools, processes, and workflows.
Identify inefficiencies and lead process improvements that drive reliability, consistency, and performance.
Develop and maintain the operational vision and roadmap for G&I tools.
Convert operator feedback and operational challenges into prioritized business requirements.
Influence product strategy, design, testing, and adoption across Control Room technology initiatives.
Facilitate after‑action reviews to identify root causes, track corrective actions, and embed lessons learned.
Translate operational challenges into strategic recommendations for leadership and technology partners.
Champion standardization and integration across Control Room applications to enhance the operator experience.
