About The Position

The Cost Management team within Meritain Health’s Network and Pharmacy Solutions organization oversees payment integrity products and strategy. The Senior Analyst, Business Consultant uses data and analytical skills to support financial and operational performance analysis and strategic initiatives, and learns to support and create customized solutions for employer groups. The role calls for initiative, skill working with disparate data sources, and the ability to manage shifting priorities.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in financial analysis or related analytical roles.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and Tableau.
• Excellent critical-thinking skills and a strategic mindset focused on continuous improvement.
• Comfort working with and analyzing large sets of disparate data.
• High individual initiative, including the ability to independently pursue and implement collaborative solutions and continue learning the business.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to adapt and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3+ years of healthcare insurance experience; TPA, NSA, or Payment Integrity knowledge is a plus.
• Experience preparing presentations and conveying complex information clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and run reporting, dashboards, and data models to support decision-making for payment integrity services.
• Track and manage group product changes, deviations, and implementations.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across multiple sources.
• Provide month-end support, including accruals, variance analysis, and reporting updates.
• Reconcile vendor payments and group billing.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and ad hoc analytical needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to answer questions and resolve issues.
• Assist in developing and implementing initiatives to optimize product and process efficiency and effectiveness.
• Use multiple data sources to help identify and quantify savings and revenue opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
