About The Position

The Senior Analyst, Business Analysis and Insights, plays a critical role in delivering accurate, data-driven analysis to support strategic business decisions. This position involves evaluating financial data, key performance indicators, and trends while collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure consistent and actionable insights. The role requires expertise in data modeling, business intelligence, and analytical tools to identify opportunities and provide guidance on best practices. The analyst supports process efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement, contributing to Walmart’s mission by fostering strong partnerships and delivering impactful business solutions. The Pricing team plays a vital role in supporting Walmart’s Every Day Low Price strategy by ensuring pricing complies with regulatory standards. Collaborating across functions, the team develops competitive pricing and promotional strategies. Utilizing data modeling and business intelligence, members analyze pricing effectiveness and adjust approaches to meet business objectives. They maintain system functionality and provide expert guidance to optimize pricing decisions, supporting omnichannel operations. The team upholds company standards and ethical practices while delivering value through data-driven insights and collaborative efforts that enhance pricing strategies and customer experience.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in data modeling and business intelligence to support data-driven decision making.
  • Strong ability to document business requirements clearly and accurately.
  • Certification from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience analyzing financial data, key performance indicators, and trends to provide actionable insights.
  • Skilled in collaborating with internal and external partners to align strategies and deliver consistent reporting.
  • Ability to develop and maintain financial models, plans, and tools for special and recurring projects.
  • Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, compliance, and continuous process improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field OR 2 years’ experience in data analytics, project management, business, or relevant area.

Responsibilities
