About The Position

The Information Systems Solutions (ISS) Organization is the enterprise function accountable for the end‑to‑end accuracy, stability, configuration, governance, controls, data integrity, and financial performance of Comcast’s residential billing ecosystem and recently expanded to Xfinity Mobile billing, supporting one of Comcast’s key growth drivers. This role is part of the Billing Quality & Assurance function of ISS and will support Billing Platform UAT & release management across CSG and Amdocs. This will include new functionality testing for each new billing system release, along with regression testing. This job focuses on designing test plans for product functionality and refining QA methodologies. It includes strategy development and team collaboration to align QA with product needs. The role manages regression and automated tests, reviews products for quality, and mentors junior QA engineers. It promotes best practices and evaluates new designs for quality standards.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in QA testing within telecom billing/BSS
  • Experience with Mobile/Cellular QA & Validation testing
  • Strong analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Designing and executing test plans to validate new feature releases and system changes in billing systems and related software applications, with an emphasis on Amdocs CES & CSG - CCS/ACSR platforms
  • Identifying and implementing test strategies to support comprehensive testing across Amdocs CES Billing, CSG Billing, related CRM & Ordering interfaces, and Customer Care modules
  • Collaborating with Product Development teams to identify release requirements and new feature functionality for all scheduled billing system changes (Amdocs CES, CSG - CCS/ACSR) to ensure alignment with QA testing and validation objectives
  • Reviewing and verifying new release design specifications affecting billing systems functionality, invoice accuracy, and downstream system impacts
  • Managing regression testing procedures and automated test suites to maintain billing stability and data integrity across releases
  • Validating end-to-end flows from order through fulfillment into billing, ensuring accurate financial outcomes
  • Supporting and driving billing release management activities, including cross functional awareness, test readiness, defect triage, and release sign-off
  • Performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting issues related to data quality and billing defects
  • Mentoring junior QA engineers and serving as a technical leader within the QA team, providing guidance on best practices and testing techniques
  • Supporting the evaluation and trial of new infrastructure designs or services, ensuring they meet quality standards
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
