About The Position

The Accounts Payable Sr. Analyst plays a key role within the Finance & Accounting department, supporting the AP Supervisor by ensuring the accurate and timely management of the company's accounts payable functions. This position demands a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a solid accounting background, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role involves overseeing invoice processing, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and upholding high standards of accuracy and efficiency in all accounts payable activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
  • Proficient in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize workload effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Match invoices to corresponding purchase orders with precision.
  • Guarantee prompt payment of vendor invoices.
  • Reconcile all accounts payable transactions regularly.
  • Update and manage accurate vendor records; respond to vendor inquiries.
  • Contribute to month-end close activities and generate accounts payable reports.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies in invoices.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on accounts payable aging.
  • Support both internal and external audits related to accounts payable processes.
