About The Position

The Accounts Payable Sr. Analyst plays a key role within the Finance & Accounting department, supporting the AP Supervisor by ensuring the accurate and timely management of the company's accounts payable functions. This position demands a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a solid accounting background, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role involves overseeing invoice processing, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and upholding high standards of accuracy and efficiency in all accounts payable activities.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
Proficient in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize workload effectively.

Responsibilities

Review and process vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Match invoices to corresponding purchase orders with precision.
Guarantee prompt payment of vendor invoices.
Reconcile all accounts payable transactions regularly.
Update and manage accurate vendor records; respond to vendor inquiries.
Contribute to month-end close activities and generate accounts payable reports.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies in invoices.
Monitor, analyze, and report on accounts payable aging.
Support both internal and external audits related to accounts payable processes.
