The Senior ALM Consultant is primarily responsible for independently building and managing strong client relationships, completing and delivering financial risk management reports, and working with clients to ensure understanding of risk position and provide guidance on general balance sheet direction or strategy.

Requirements

BS/BA in finance, economics, accounting or related field required
Minimum of 7+ years financial experience
Strong knowledge of fixed income securities and loan valuation
In-depth understanding of accounting and economics
Intermediate to advanced MS Excel user – lookups, pivot tables, equation building, etc.
Proven analytical and problem solving skills
Intermediate user in other MS Office products
Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
Ability to work well in a fast paced team environment
Detail oriented, deadline driven with ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously

Nice To Haves

Advanced degree and/or certifications such as CFA, FRM, CMA, CTP, CPA
Modeling experience (FIS Balance Sheet Manager, QRM, KRM, ZM, Plansmith, Profitstars)
SQL or coding
Presentation Skills
