About The Position

The Senior AI Python Developer designs and builds production-grade AI applications using Python and Amazon Bedrock. The role develops retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and vector-search solutions, builds AI agents and agentic workflows, and creates reusable services with FastAPI and Pydantic. It integrates structured and unstructured enterprise data and implements safeguards, evaluation, testing, traceability, security, and performance optimization for AI systems.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Python development, software engineering, or AI/ML engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, REST APIs, FastAPI, Pydantic, and boto3.
• Experience with Amazon Bedrock and LLM/Generative AI integration.
• Hands-on development of AI agents or agentic workflows.
• Experience with RAG, embeddings, semantic search, and vector databases.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and pgvector.
• Strong prompt-engineering skills, including structured outputs, testing, optimization, and evaluation.
• Experience with Amazon Textract, AWS, and Docker.
• Experience with automated testing and AI evaluation.
• Knowledge of AI security, data protection, Responsible AI, and enterprise governance.
• Experience working in large enterprise or regulated environments.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Strands Agents.
