Python/ Agentic AI Developer
About The Position
The Python/Agentic AI Developer will use AI-driven development tools to modernize a legacy codebase into a modern technology stack. The role works within an Agile squad and collaborates with teams across Wealth Management, infrastructure, and architecture. The candidate should understand the banking technology environment and build solutions that adapt to changing business needs. The developer will use Microsoft Copilot and other AI-assisted tools to create Python web applications, backend services, and automation solutions; review generated code for correctness, quality, object-oriented design, and engineering standards; and design and execute AI-assisted unit tests. The position also involves building AI-driven components with Agentic AI frameworks and Copilot extensibility, developing and maintaining automation workflows, debugging and optimizing applications, reviewing system designs and integrations, creating custom libraries, and documenting automation procedures.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in core Python development.
- Strong understanding of Python syntax, data structures, object-oriented programming, and design principles.
- Experience building AI agents using Agentic AI architecture.
- Experience integrating LLMs into workflows.
- Experience with prompt engineering and model interaction design.
- Experience with Spec Driven Development.
- Proficiency with Python frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
- Experience with Python data and machine-learning libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
- Understanding of unit-testing tools such as pytest and unittest, and test automation.
- At least 4 years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale automation systems.
- Experience with process engineering and re-engineering.
- Understanding of software engineering principles such as encapsulation, extensibility, and maintainability.
- Experience architecting and developing workflow-based solutions or functionality.
- Strong knowledge and work experience automating processes using queues and creating libraries.
- Wealth Management experience.
- Local to Alpharetta, Georgia, and available for an onsite role and in-person client interview.
Responsibilities
- Use Microsoft Copilot and other AI-assisted development tools to generate Python web applications, backend services, and automation solutions, and review the results for correctness, quality, object-oriented principles, and engineering standards.
- Use AI-assisted tools to design unit test cases for Python code and execute tests to validate functionality and compliance with business and technical requirements.
- Build AI-driven components using Agentic AI frameworks, Microsoft Copilot extensibility, and other modern AI development tools.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for stability, performance, and reliability.
- Stay current with technologies, frameworks, and best practices relevant to Python development and AI.
- Design, develop, and test automation workflows, ensuring quality.
- Monitor and incorporate feedback during development and testing while maintaining project specifications.
- Review code and designs and provide expertise in system development and integration.
- Configure automations efficiently and in an understandable manner.
- Document automation procedures.
- Develop custom libraries.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, QA Analysts, Product Owners, and other cross-functional team members to define and automate processes and deliver on time.
