About The Position

Snowflake’s Solution Engineering organization is seeking an AI Specialist to provide hands-on expertise and support to technical decision makers and data scientists designing and architecting AI solutions on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. This strategic role works closely with product, engineering, and the broader field organization to support successful execution and customer adoption of Snowflake’s AI and ML solutions. The role supports customers across the Americas and contributes to customer-facing technical work as well as materials that help scale the team’s impact.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience building and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions in the cloud.
• Familiarity with generative AI techniques such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), few-shot learning, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning, applied to enterprise AI use cases such as interactive chat applications or text processing.
• Deep knowledge of Python and common machine learning packages, such as LangChain, pandas, scikit-learn, and PyTorch.
• Knowledge of data engineering tools and technologies such as dbt, Airflow, and Spark.
• Strong presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including whiteboarding sessions, formal readouts, and demos.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of tools in the LLM ecosystem, such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or other open-source packages.
• Experience and understanding of large-scale infrastructure-as-a-service platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP.
• At least 1 year of practical Snowflake experience.
• Knowledge of and experience with large-scale database technology such as Snowflake, Netezza, Exadata, Teradata, or Greenplum.

Responsibilities

• Position Snowflake’s AI and ML features and value as the technical expert for customers’ technical stakeholders across the Americas.
• Partner with Snowflake account teams and customer champions to scope and drive proofs of concept to successful technical wins, including executive readouts and business value cases.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence Snowflake’s AI and ML roadmaps based on customer feedback.
• Publish material that helps scale the team and company, such as blog posts, conference presentations, notebooks, demos, and other technical collateral.
• Influence, tailor, and maintain Sales Engineering AI and ML selling assets, including customer presentations, demonstrations, and customer stories.
