Senior AI Full-Stack Software Developer (Python/React)
About The Position
We are looking for a Senior AI Full-Stack Software Developer (Python/React) to join our growing team. This role involves participating in the design and application design around an event-oriented architecture, assisting testers with component and integration tests, and contributing to the development and evolution of front-end and back-end components for algorithm execution. The position also includes technological watch, defining development standards for system efficiency, resilience, and sustainability, optimizing the platform for velocity and scalability, and prioritizing development tasks in collaboration with the team. The role emphasizes ensuring high quality of work, strengthening development team productivity, overseeing the development of appropriate tactics, supporting problem situations, and acting as a Technical Leader/Mentor for Squad members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of significant experience in development.
- Proficiency in the following technologies: TypeScript, React, AWS, REST / Swagger.
- A good knowledge of Python and TypeScript.
- A knowledge of AI concepts, GenAI, RAG and MLOps best practices.
- Experience with automated UI testing.
- Well documented and ability to make complex concepts easy to understand.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and application design around an event-oriented architecture.
- Help our testers in setting up component and integration tests.
- Participate in the development and evolution of front-end and back-end components for the execution of our algorithms.
- Participate in the technological watch and definition of development standards to ensure system efficiency, resilience and sustainability.
- Optimize the platform for maximum velocity and scalability.
- Optimize and prioritize development tasks in collaboration with the team.
- Ensure the high level of quality of the work delivered.
- Strengthen the development team productivity.
- Oversee the development of appropriate tactics to achieve objectives.
- Support and be proactively involved in problem situations or issues.
- Play a Technical Leader / Mentor role for Squad members.
