  • Hands-on experience building applications using generative AI/LLMs such as Claude/Anthropic, OpenAI, or comparable platforms.
  • Strong experience building and consuming APIs and integrating third-party systems.
  • Experience with modern cloud-based application architecture, databases, authentication, security, testing, and deployment.
  • Strong product mindset, with attention to user and business problems as well as code.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and make progress while requirements are evolving.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with non-technical business partners.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Relevant technical experience may include TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, React, Next.js, Node.js or comparable modern frameworks; LLM APIs, prompt engineering, tool/function calling, structured outputs, agentic workflows and LLM evaluation; RAG, embeddings, semantic/vector search and retrieval; PostgreSQL, SQL and/or modern NoSQL databases; REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth and third-party integrations; AWS, Azure or GCP, Git/GitHub, CI/CD, containers and modern deployment practices; and authentication, role-based access controls, data security, logging, monitoring and audit trails.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with recruiting or HR technology, including ATS, CRM, or HRIS platforms such as Phenom, Avature, Greenhouse, Workday, or iCIMS.

Responsibilities

  • Own continued development of the internal recruiting platform, evolving an existing prototype into a secure, reliable, production-ready application.
  • Design and develop full-stack functionality across the user interface, backend, databases, APIs, and integrations.
  • Build AI-powered capabilities using Claude and other leading LLMs, including intelligent candidate search, matching, workflow automation, communication, and recruiter productivity tools.
  • Develop AI agents, prompts, structured workflows, and human-in-the-loop solutions for real-world recruiting use cases.
  • Partner with recruiters and HR leaders to translate business problems into practical technology solutions.
  • Rapidly prototype ideas, gather user feedback, and iterate.
  • Integrate the platform with HR systems, job boards, background screening, email and calendar tools, and other third-party applications.
  • Build for enterprise requirements, including security, candidate-data privacy, role-based permissions, auditability, reliability, and scalability.
  • Help establish the technical architecture, development standards, testing, documentation, and long-term platform roadmap.
