Senior AI Engineer

Sensata•Attleboro, MA

About The Position

The Senior AI Engineer builds and deploys AI solutions for Sensata operations, beginning with Supply Chain and extending to Procurement, Quality, and Engineering. The role turns priority use cases into production applications—including agents, copilots, and model-driven tools—for planners, buyers, and engineers, connecting those solutions to ERP, planning, and manufacturing systems. The position also supports enterprise AI engineering needs as priorities arise. The engineer develops production AI applications from prototype through deployment and business adoption, working directly with operational teams and collaborating with data science, product, data engineering, platform, and other stakeholders. Solutions are delivered using the enterprise AI platform and the Dev/Test/Prod, CI/CD, and MLOps/LLMOps standards set by the AI Architect and Platform team. The role defines evaluation criteria, monitors solution performance and impact, communicates technical trade-offs and risks, and contributes to reusable engineering practices and technical standards.
