About The Position

LevelTen Energy is seeking a hands-on Senior AI Enablement Specialist to act as their internal AI expert. This role will be responsible for building, securing, and scaling AI across the organization. It is a technical individual contributor role focused on building agentic workflows, implementing AI governance and security best practices, training teams on the Claude ecosystem, and identifying high-impact use cases. The specialist will operate largely independently within the IT department, serving as the primary resource for AI guidance, troubleshooting, and capability building for employees, department heads, and the IT team. The ability to build with AI, not just talk about it, is essential.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical experience in a hands-on role (AI development, technical product management, systems engineering, or similar).
  • At least 2 years of direct AI building experience as an individual contributor.
  • Proven experience owning and building AI solutions independently.
  • Deep Claude Ecosystem Fluency, including practical experience with Skills, Artifacts, Projects, Cowork, and MCP.
  • Experience building agents and workflows in Claude.
  • Proven AI builder with demonstrable examples of workflows, agents, integrations, or tools.
  • Comfort working with APIs, prompt engineering, and lightweight integrations without constant engineering support.
  • Understanding of AI security implications, including data flows, prompt injection risks, model data retention policies, and shadow IT.
  • Comfort serving as an AI security resource alongside IT and InfoSec teams.
  • Self-directed with the ability to identify gaps, design solutions, and execute independently.
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to engineers and business value to non-technical staff.
  • Experience with one-on-ones, small group sessions, and hands-on build workshops.
  • Collaborative and empathetic approach to working with employees at all technical levels.
  • Energized by building and enabling, not managing people.
  • Self-driven practitioner who experiments with AI independently and stays current on the landscape.

  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, or NIST frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Build, deploy, and maintain agentic workflows, AI automations, and lightweight integrations across the Claude ecosystem.
  • Prototype AI solutions for teams, troubleshoot issues, and serve as a resource for AI tooling.
  • Work with APIs, MCP servers, prompt engineering, and connected platforms, and manage handoffs to IT or Infrastructure when necessary.
  • Serve as the AI security resource within IT, advising on best practices, implementing governance frameworks, and ensuring secure and compliant AI adoption.
  • Provide guidance on data classification, access controls, audit logging for AI usage, shadow IT risk mitigation, and vendor security reviews.
  • Work with IT and Security teams on AI-specific security questions within an ISO 27001 and SOC 2 environment.
  • Conduct one-on-ones, small group workshops, and hands-on build sessions to train non-technical staff on Claude and AI capabilities.
  • Partner with department heads to identify workflows where AI can drive efficiency, reduce manual work, or unlock new capabilities.
  • Translate identified opportunities into buildable and deployable AI solutions.
  • Build the intake process, adoption metrics, and feedback loops for AI usage.
  • Track AI adoption metrics and use data to continuously improve AI utilization.
  • Stay current on the AI landscape, evaluate new tools against security and compliance standards, and provide practical recommendations.
  • Conduct market research on relevant AI tools and technologies.
