About The Position

The Agile Innovation Manager will play a vital role within a cross-functional agile pod focused on driving innovation and growth in the Disruptive Innovation team. Embedded alongside R&D, Packaging, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Strategy leads, this position enables fit-for-purpose agile ways of working, removes execution barriers, builds adaptive timelines, and accelerates the continuous delivery of high-impact physical product innovations from concept to market launch.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of project management, agile leadership, or Scrum Master experience within the Food & Beverage industry.
  • Direct experience with physical product innovation and commercialization in Food & Beverage, specifically with packaging projects, engineering, manufacturing machinery adjustments, and supply chain alignment is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies applied to physical product development and commercialization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Proven capability in building and managing fluid project timelines subject to frequent changes.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams.

  • Flexibility to work early hours (7:00 AM CST start when needed) to collaborate with global team members in AMS.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint reviews, and other agile rituals to keep the pod aligned and focused.
  • Partner with the Project Owner and Marketing Lead to manage end-to-end physical product innovation and commercialization from concept to market launch.
  • Build and manage project and product development timelines, aligning pod members on commitments to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Coach the pod on agile principles, balancing speed and structure while adapting quickly to feedback and iterative learnings.
  • Identify and resolve operational, organizational, and resource impediments to maintain execution momentum.
  • Track key agile metrics (CSat, Maturity, Capacity), report progress, and implement adjustments to ensure project success.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of sprint goals, backlogs, decisions, and velocity to maintain full stakeholder visibility.
  • Tailor agile workflows to reflect physical product innovation constraints, including packaging changes, formula adjustments, machinery timelines, and retail requirements.
