About The Position

This role supports Department of Defense (DoD) contracts, focusing on DoD acquisitions and contract strategy. The Agile Program Manager will work closely with DoD clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of capability to meet mission objectives. The position involves leading a team of experts and serving as a liaison to the Government client, making a direct impact on critical Space Force programs. Responsibilities include managing agile software pathway programs, technical projects (performance, cost, schedule, risk), and orchestrating the development, coordination, and closure of acquisition and contract documentation. The role also involves building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders and obtaining consensus.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with DoD acquisition planning, contract management, and business operations
  • 5+ years of experience with DoD Major Defense Acquisition Programs for Space systems, including ground systems software and hardware
  • 4+ years of experience in program management, making decisions or recommendations for cost, schedule, and performance tradeoffs
  • Experience preparing Request for Proposals and leading proposal evaluations
  • Experience identifying, analyzing, and proposing program risks, issues, and opportunities and managing handling plans
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional team meetings and professional environments
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with Adaptive Acquisition Framework, including Software Acquisition Pathways
  • Experience with Other Transaction Authority agreements
  • Experience working with DoD space, SATCOM, or satellite ground systems
  • Experience with Agile tools, including Jira and Confluence
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master's degree
