Join us. This position requires a person that can both develop process and work within defined procedures, to include government requirements. The successful candidate will have experience interfacing with a wide range of internal disciplines, customers, and active subcontractors in a lead role having seen projects progress from inception to completion. Demonstrated experience in project financials tracking, data and hardware deliverable management, and subcontractor management is required. The successful candidate will have a background experience in projects in the Government or Defense Contracting Industry.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of industry experience as directly supporting or leading project execution of design, development, manufacturing, or operations programs
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and technicians in defense or aerospace industries
  • Positive, “can-do” attitude and talent/experience leading people and cultivating healthy relationships
  • Pro-active approach to solving problems
  • Work under general direction in a fast-paced environment collaborating between program and technical teams
  • Working knowledge of enterprise resourcing and planning tools
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Skilled in the use of IT tools, including spreadsheets, word processing, planning, and scheduling software.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in either aerospace development, manned or unmanned aircraft flight operations, or aircraft manufacturing
  • Experience with CAD software and simulation tools
  • Active or previous security clearance

  • Maintaining project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, working in collaboration with Program Management and Technical Engineering
  • Project financials
  • Project & program deliverables
  • Team task and labor tracking and management
  • Requirements decomposition in tasking with V&V
  • Documentation and communication of project health and status to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Schedule, plan, and host technical meetings and design reviews
  • Analyze and interpret technical data to inform project decisions
  • Planning, organizing, coordinating technical work, and obtaining cooperation from others
