About The Position

CEA is seeking an experienced AEC Estimator to develop comprehensive construction cost estimates for vertical capital projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in utilizing historical benchmarking data for architectural, structural, and civil trades and materials to produce accurate and reliable estimates. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate cost forecasting, evaluating project risks and opportunities, and supporting informed decision-making throughout the project development process.

Requirements

• Multi-discipline construction estimating.
• Vertical capital project experience.
• Cost benchmarking and cost modeling.
• Project leadership and/or project management experience.
• Full-cycle estimate development from planning through execution.
• 5 to 10 years of construction estimating experience.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience performing quantity takeoffs and cost estimating.
• Understanding of construction terminology, labor, materials, and equipment costs.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related construction discipline.
• CPE (ASPE) or CEP (AACE) certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current pricing data from contractors, suppliers, and databases.
• Analyze historical benchmark costs and identify variances.
• Review change orders and value engineering proposals and determine cost impacts.
• Participate in project meetings with clients, owners, architects, and contractors.
• Deliver estimates on time and manage client feedback and scope changes.
