About The Position
Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is hiring a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer for a 6+ month contract opportunity with long-term potential. The position is based in Phoenix, Arizona, with a hybrid work arrangement. The engineer will use Model-Based Systems Engineering methods and tools, manage requirements, and analyze and design lubrication systems. The role also involves collaborating with engineering teams to improve analysis tools and practices. The pay range is $85–$87 per hour. Requirements
- At least 5 years of systems engineering experience in the aerospace industry.
- Hands-on experience with MBSE using Cameo Systems Modeler.
- Proven experience managing requirements using IBM DOORS.
- Fundamental understanding of fluid systems, including heat transfer and flow analysis.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with lubrication systems in turbine engines.
- Familiarity with gear and bearing design and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Use Cameo Systems Modeler for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods.
- Manage requirements using IBM DOORS, including writing and decomposing requirements.
- Analyze and design lubrication systems, applying fluid systems knowledge, including heat transfer and flow analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve current analysis tools and practices.
