About The Position

Honeywell Aerospace is hiring a Senior Advanced Atomic Physicist to develop new products and technologies in atomic clocks, atomic RF sensors, photonics, quantum sensing, and optical sensing. The role contributes to an atomic clock development program and works with scientists and engineers to develop atomic sensor concepts and demonstrate them in practical devices. It also involves working with customers and partners to define requirements and develop solutions through analysis, engineering, and experimentation. The position supports product design, integration, qualification, and system-performance evaluation for internal R&D and customer-funded programs. The physicist contributes to trade studies, issue resolution, technical reviews, requirements analysis, system documentation, proposals, simulations, data analysis, and test planning. The role reports to the Director of Engineering and is based in Redmond, Washington, with a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days remote after 90 days.
