About The Position

The Senior Admissions RN has the primary responsibility or coordinating admissions and bed placement for patients requiring admission. This includes admissions from all areas, including, but not excluding, emergency departments, direct admits, surgical spaces and transfers. Chart review and/or calls to clarify bed criteria will be performed to assure appropriate bed placement and coordination. The Senior Admissions RN collaborates with nursing, physicians, EVS, clinical resource office, Administrative Supervisor, Leadership, and other facilities to define, reduce and eliminate barriers within the system which may impede patient flow and access. Requirements

Bachelor's Degree (applicants without a BSN must actively pursue and attain a BSN within two years of hire; continued employment beyond two years is contingent upon attaining the BSN degree)
Washington Registered Nurse License
5 years of RN experience in either ED, ICU and/or 5 years Acute Care Inpatient Nursing
