About The Position

Shriners Children’s is seeking a highly professional and experienced Senior Administrative Assistant to provide executive-level administrative and operational support to the department in the Office of the Executive Vice President. This position will be filled through a staff agency on a temporary to permanent basis. The role involves managing complex calendars, coordinating high-level meetings and events, arranging travel and preparing itineraries, drafting and editing correspondence, reports, and presentations, and handling confidential information with the utmost discretion. The Senior Administrative Assistant will also serve as a liaison between the Executive Vice President’s office and internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and efficient coordination of priorities and projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational, communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities, maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment, and proactively support the overall effectiveness and daily operations of the department. This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5 years of administrative assistant experience in a professional business office environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Organizational skills

  • Teamwork and attention to detail
  • Excellent proofreading skills
  • Experience maintaining confidentiality and discretion in a professional environment
