About The Position

Make a meaningful impact at the Sandpoint Center by helping students, instructors, staff, and community members navigate the services and resources available through North Idaho College and the Workforce Training Center. As a Senior Administrative Assistant/Customer Service Representative, you'll serve as a welcoming first point of contact while coordinating day-to-day operations and helping ensure the center runs smoothly. This position combines customer service, administrative coordination, student registration, testing, classroom support, and facility operations. Responsibilities include assisting customers with WTC programs and connecting them with other campus services, preparing classrooms and instructional technology, supporting instructors, proctoring exams, maintaining secure testing records, processing registrations, preparing reports, and providing general office and accounting support. The role also helps develop and implement processes that improve the delivery of services and supports the needs of multiple NIC departments operating at the Sandpoint Center. We're looking for someone who is organized, resourceful, and comfortable taking initiative in a busy environment. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and maintain accuracy with sensitive information and data. The ideal candidate is comfortable learning new systems, navigating databases, and troubleshooting classroom technology while providing dependable support to students, instructors, staff, and community members. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or Applied Associate’s degree or certification from a two-year college or professional/technical school or program and a minimum of three years full-time equivalent related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
