About The Position

Nationwide is seeking a Senior Actuary to join the Capital Forecasting team within Enterprise Risk Management. The role works across Finance, P&C Actuarial, Risk Management, Capital Modeling, and business leadership to translate complex actuarial analysis into clear targets, recommendations, and a consistent capital monitoring and reporting framework. As a senior technical expert, the position provides leadership and oversight for complex actuarial techniques, procedures, and risk analysis. It manages research and may direct others to support efficient, consistent, and integrated data and analysis. The role works independently and may lead others directly or indirectly, providing strategic direction and business recommendations. It may also represent the company with regulators, auditors, and external vendors. This role can be staffed fully remote and reports to an Actuarial leader. Nationwide describes the working conditions as a normal office environment. The position is exempt from overtime eligibility.
