About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Actuary (Predictive Modeling) to drive best-in-class pricing and profitability while also supporting growth of the business. As a senior technical leader on the team, you will set the direction for our predictive analytics work, advancing the sophistication of our pricing models and the tools we use to monitor the performance of our rating plans over time. In this highly visible role, you will be a senior member of a small, close-knit actuarial team, taking ownership of complex, ambiguous problems and setting technical standards for how the team approaches actuarial pricing and financial forecasting initiatives. Time will be roughly evenly split between pricing, conversion, and retention modeling work and traditional actuarial pricing work. You will lead the evaluation of product proposals from a pricing and enterprise risk management perspective, own rate filings and responses to regulatory objections, and spearhead special pricing projects such as increased limit factor analyses, policyholder coverage utilization studies, and pricing brand new coverages. As a recognized subject matter expert, you will frequently engage in creative problem-solving and present your recommendations directly to senior leadership, actively shaping the organization’s future.
