Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 3+ years of work experience beyond degree.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- 3 Actuarial exams/courses.
- Eligibility to work in the US.
Nice To Haves
- Health insurance experience.
- Database experience - SQL, R, SAS, Python.
- Medicaid experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate the likelihood of future events to reduce and manage future risks.
- Complete and interpret actuarial analysis, valuations, cost estimates, and modeling using statistical programming and database tools.
- Perform rate level pricing functions and prepare monitoring reports on program or product pricing.
- Measure historical relationships to develop forecasts and identify trends.
- Build and maintain actuarial models to support business goals and initiatives.
- Perform data analysis and validation using actuarial and statistical techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Underwriting and Product Development.
- Perform ad hoc analyses as needed.
