Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
3+ years of work experience beyond degree
Strong written and communication skills
3 Actuarial exams/courses

Nice To Haves

Health insurance experience
Database experience - SQL, R, SAS, Python
Medicaid experience a plus

Responsibilities

Analyze and evaluate the likelihood of future events in order to reduce and manage future risks.
Complete and interpret actuarial analysis, valuations, cost estimates, and modeling using statistical programming and database tools.
Perform rate level pricing functions and prepare monitoring reports on program or product pricing.
Measure historical relationships to develop forecasts and identify trends.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Build and maintain actuarial models to support business goals and initiatives.
Perform data analysis and validation using actuarial and statistical techniques.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Underwriting and Product Development.
Perform ad hoc analyses as needed.
