About The Position

Fusion Technology is seeking a Senior Acquisition Specialist to support mission-critical US Government programs. The role involves preparing acquisition documents, providing advice on program/budget scheduling and planning, and offering expertise on factors influencing cost, schedule, performance, and risk. The specialist will also advise on the interpretation and tailoring of applicable acquisition regulations and memorandums.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI clearance required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 12 years of demonstrated combined experience in DoD acquisition management, program management, and/or contract management.
  • An additional three years of demonstrated combined experience in DoD acquisition management, program management, and/or contract management, for a total of 15 years of experience, may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • DAWIA Level II or a Federal Acquisition Institute certification in any focus area.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare acquisition documents for Government approval.
  • Provide advice for program/budget scheduling and planning, including preparing recommendations for program objectives, operating schedules, and resource requirements.
  • Provide acquisition support on functions of program management.
  • Assist APMs in developing program documentation, creating program schedules, tracking program status, evaluating operational and technical alternatives.
  • Provide expertise on factors that influence cost, schedule, performance, and risk.
  • Advice in the interpretation and tailoring of applicable acquisition regulations/memorandums.
