About The Position

Peraton is now hiring a Sr Acquisition Specialist for its' Federal Strategic Cyber program. In this role, you will coordinate purchases of hardware, software, and services in support of the equipment procurement mission. You will identify the procurement needs of the program, conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and compare offers, and negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure advantageous terms. You will also prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment, track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness, and develop procurement strategies and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers. Additionally, you will manage end-to-end procure-to-pay for CAP and ODC items: sourcing, RFQs, evaluation, negotiation, PO issuance, and receipt/acceptance coordination. You will coordinate with engineering, contracts, finance, and program leads to ensure technical/contract compliance and budget alignment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited college or university with 8 years of relevant experience, OR a Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Master's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field with 6 years of experience, OR Ph.D. in a related field with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in purchasing, procurement, and/or acquisition.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
