Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • A two-year degree or more than 2 years’ experience in related accounting discipline.
  • Experience running reports and trouble shooting from various systems to get desired result.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredient purchasing estimate and weekly reports for purchasing managers.
  • Calculate and process flock settlements for contract grower flocks marketed.
  • Monitor and analyze the profit and loss impact of hedge activity and deferrals.
  • Prepare report of marketed flock feed components.
  • Prepare and reconcile accounts payable balances to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Process accounts payable invoices for outside feed purchases and enter related feed deliveries into the inventory management system to support accurate inventory valuation and cost tracking.
  • Provide cross-functional support and serve as a backup for other specialists within the Live Production Accounting team as needed.
