Hospitalist - Physician - Willmar, MN
About The Position
Join a collaborative, patient-centered team at Rice Memorial Hospital, a 136-bed regional facility and the Southwestern hub of CentraCare. Practice in a modern inpatient setting with an on-campus outpatient surgery center, onsite pharmacy, lab, and procedure rooms. Comprehensive services include cardiac and pulmonary rehab, PT, OT, speech therapy, and regional outreach. Bedside procedures are optional, with opportunities to teach medical students and Family Medicine residents. The schedule includes Daytime shifts (mainly rounding) from 7 AM-5 PM, covered by two providers, and a Swing/admitting shift from 1-11 PM, covered by one provider. Overnight coverage is handled by a tele-hospitalist service. Flexible block scheduling is utilized, with 15 shifts/month considered full time.
Requirements
- Medical Degree or Doctor of Osteopathy
- BE/BC in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Eligibility for Minnesota medical licensure
- Family Medicine applicants must have 2 years of hospital experience or a fellowship in Hospital Medicine
