About The Position

The Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting. This role involves monitoring and analyzing accounting data, producing financial reports, and establishing and enforcing accounting policies. The position also requires coordinating annual audits, recommending system improvements, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements. The manager will assign projects, direct staff, and maintain fiscal records.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA needed.
Minimum of 4 + years of progressive audit experience.
Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
