Requirements

  • At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with significant time spent in a management role.
  • Must have experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Proven ability to manage the complexities of multiple sets of books and intercompany transactions.
  • A passion for embracing AI and a high degree of comfort adopting and optimizing advanced financial software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • CPA preferred. (In lieu of a CPA, significant specialized experience within the healthcare industry is required).

Responsibilities

  • Proactively assess and enhance accounting practices to support continuous growth, implementing scalable internal controls for multiple companies.
  • Actively identify and implement AI-driven solutions to automate routine tasks, allowing more time for strategic analysis and high-level forecasting.
  • Lead and develop general ledger staff, fostering a high-performance culture through coaching and clear goal-setting.
  • Oversee payroll, A/P, A/R, general ledger, and tax compliance across diverse entities.
  • Prepare and analyze bi-weekly, monthly, and annual financial statements with absolute precision.
  • Analyze revenue and cash flow trends to provide leadership with actionable insights and risk assessments.
  • Direct external financial audits and coordinate regulatory responses.
  • Manage business operating licenses across all jurisdictions as we enter new markets.
