About The Position

We are looking for a passionate, growth-oriented team player to join our growing Accounting team! The Senior Accounting & Corporate Finance Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for the accuracy, timeliness, control, and continuous improvement of corporate accounting and finance activities. This role leads monthly balance sheet and profit-and-loss reporting, oversees accounting and financial planning for overhead and Advertising & Promotional (A&P) spend, and ensures disciplined month-end and year-end close execution. The position currently manages an Accounting Analyst and T&E Specialist, and is expected to develop the team while establishing effective review procedures, segregation of duties, and checks across all areas of responsibility. The ideal candidate combines strong accounting fundamentals with corporate finance, planning, analysis, and people leadership capabilities. This individual will partner across the business, work with our global partners and systems, and progressively deepen expertise in the company’s SAP accounting processes. The Senior Accounting & Corporate Finance Manager is responsible for leading key corporate accounting, financial reporting, planning, and compliance activities while developing a high-performing team and maintaining a strong internal control environment. This role partners across the organization to drive financial accuracy, business insights, process improvements, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • 10-15 years experience in Corporate Accounting
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint and Word

  • Expertise in SAP (or equivalent ERP) is a plus
  • Knowledge of Concur Invoice or similar electronic invoice management system is a plus
  • Intermediate AI utilization/know-how is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, develop, and mentor direct reports, including the Accounting Analyst and T&E Specialist, while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve internal controls, accounting policies, procedures, SOPs, review processes, and segregation of duties to ensure financial integrity, compliance, operational effectiveness, and adherence to company policies.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end close processes for assigned areas, including the preparation and review of journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and financial reporting; ensure timely, accurate, and complete Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss submissions through global reporting systems.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial results, identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and key business drivers; provide meaningful commentary, actionable insights, and recommendations to leadership while ensuring data integrity across financial systems, reporting tools, and supporting schedules.
  • Lead Corporate Accounting and Finance activities for SG&A (Overhead) and Advertising & Promotional (A&P) expenditures, ensuring proper accounting treatment, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Own the budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes for Overhead and A&P spend; partner with department leaders to develop assumptions, monitor performance, and explain variances.
  • Serve as active participant for internal and external audits related to assigned areas; coordinate audit requests, provide supporting documentation, and implement recommendations as appropriate.
  • Oversee the Company's Travel & Expense (T&E) program, including policy administration, employee support, compliance monitoring, reporting, audits, and process enhancements.
  • Manage Corporate Insurance activities including renewals, broker relationships, certificates of insurance, exposure reporting, and maintenance of required documentation.
  • Support Transfer Pricing accounting activities, ensuring accurate calculations, entries, documentation, and compliance.
  • Lead Intercompany accounting and reconciliation activities, proactively identifying and resolving differences with affiliated entities.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, system enhancements, and reporting efficiencies to increase productivity, accuracy, scalability, and overall effectiveness of finance and accounting operations.
  • Serve as a business partner to Marketing, Human Resources, IT, Commercial Finance, and other departments to support financial planning, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and support to team members and business partners as needed.
  • Progressively develop deeper expertise within SAP, including advanced accounting processes, reporting functionality, master data impacts, and system controls, to expand overall ownership and support capabilities.
  • Assist with special projects, business initiatives, system implementations, and ad hoc financial analyses as requested by management.
