Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Word and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, spelling and telephone skills
  • Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and collaborate with various managers in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Responsibilities

  • Perform accounting functions such as payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit, collections, budgets, financial planning, general accounting, billing, etc
  • Support project lifecycle activities such as project setup, subcontract administration, closeouts, and maintaining accurate project data and timelines.
  • Assist with financial monitoring tasks, including labor transfers, timesheet review, and cost recovery.
  • Provide general support to accounting and project management teams while maintaining accurate records and assisting with day-to-day operational needs.
  • Coordinate and process administrative accounting tasks such as purchase requisitions, amendments to purchase requisitions, credit requests, and internal reporting requirements.
  • Assist with financial monitoring tasks, including labor transfers, timesheet review, cost recovery, and ensuring accuracy in project-related transactions.
  • Perform specific and limited portions of a broader assignment
  • Do routine work and follow detailed instructions
  • Involve the use of computers to maintain financial records and accounting reports
  • Perform other duties as needed
