About The Position

MCI is seeking a highly analytical and precise Senior Accounting Analyst to provide dedicated financial support to their MarketForce team. This role involves delivering accurate financial reporting, performing complex reconciliations, supporting audits, and analyzing key financial data to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven environment and play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and insight for a growing business unit. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3–5 years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience, preferably in a BPO, shared services, or fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, with a collaborative mindset and desire to contribute to team success.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or progress toward certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Perform complex account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and variance analyses.
  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing detailed schedules, documentation, and responses to inquiries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, FP&A, and payroll, to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.
  • Help maintain and improve internal controls, accounting processes, and financial systems.
  • Provide insightful analysis on key financial metrics, trends, and business drivers to support management decision-making.
  • Support system upgrades or transitions, including data validation and testing.
  • Identify opportunities for automation or process enhancements to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as required.
