Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • 4+ years of relevant accounting experience
  • Experience using AI agents, such as Claude and ChatGPT
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in accounting
  • Strong Excel and other Microsoft skills
  • Deep analytical skills and attention to detail; able to multi-task on multiple projects with varying deadlines
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central software and Concur is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform the month-end and year-end accounting close process, including but not limited to preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Prepare financial statements for dissemination to senior management, partners, and other third parties as needed
  • Identify, design, and implement AI-driven improvements and automate key accounting processes
  • Review international financial statements, intercompany, eliminations and consolidations
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of monthly financial results
  • Ensure financial information and schedules are accurate and maintained in accordance with US GAAP, including knowledge of accounting principles and procedures under ASC 606 Revenue from Contracts with Customers, ASC 842 Leases, and ASC 350 Intangibles – Goodwill and Other
  • Coordinate with external auditors for requests and inquiries
  • Ensure controls are properly performed within the financial close process and financial reporting
  • Perform various projects such as research, special projects, and analysis, as needed
