About The Position

Arrive Logistics is seeking a highly analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Analyst – Revenue to serve as a key pillar in their finance organization. The ideal candidate is an energetic problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has heavy experience working with and analyzing large volume datasets. This role will lead revenue and margin assurance, while ensuring precise GAAP compliance. The Senior Accounting Analyst - Revenue is part of the Corporate Accounting team and will be involved in the month-end close and reporting process. The ideal candidate will have a continued focus on process improvement and automation within their respective areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial accounting, reporting, or audit.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to process high volumes of transaction data without compromising accuracy.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong sense of urgency.

Nice To Haves

  • MAcc or MBA is a plus.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or active candidacy is preferred.
  • Experience with SQL query construction and data visualization is highly preferred.
  • Experience with NetSuite or other major ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day revenue recognition and cost of revenue processes and reporting, ensuring strict compliance with US GAAP (specifically ASC 606) and internal financial policies.
  • Own treasury administration and preparation of all debt and liquidity reporting.
  • Prepare and/or perform queries and dataset updates as needed.
  • Perform month-end close responsibilities including complex journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accelerate the close process.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for your accounting processes, document these processes accordingly with SOP creation and maintenance, and recommend and implement efficiencies through automation and best practices.
  • Utilize strong GAAP knowledge to ensure compliance, perform technical accounting research, and document findings as needed.
  • Assist with the creation and delivery of key reporting metrics and analytics for leadership.
  • Assist with system implementations and integrations as identified or needed.
  • Create ad-hoc reports and analyses to support cross-functional teams as well as the Finance and accounting team.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and accountants, fostering professional growth within the team.
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
