About The Position

This role supports clients with tasks across accounting and finance functions. The position may serve clients in capacities such as Accounting Manager, Controller, or Project Manager, and may involve managing multiple client stakeholders at once. Responsibilities include preparing accounting reports, participating in ad hoc projects, overseeing period-end closing, performing due diligence, assisting with SEC reporting, and resolving complex accounting issues. The role also helps clients implement new accounting pronouncements, including ASC 606 and ASC 842. Other duties may be assigned as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; a focus in Accounting is preferred.
• Five or more years of related experience required.
• Experience working with public, private, or private equity companies required.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP required.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook required.
• Technical skills commensurate with level of experience.
• Demonstrate professionalism under pressure.
• Be a team player, contribute knowledge, and ask for help when needed.
• Learn quickly and work ethically and effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers at all levels of customers’ and internal organizations.
• Continually strive to improve interpersonal, management, functional, and technical skills.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Serve clients in capacities such as Accounting Manager, Controller, or Project Manager.
• Manage multiple client stakeholders simultaneously.
• Prepare miscellaneous accounting reports.
• Participate in ad hoc projects.
• Oversee all aspects of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
• Perform due diligence procedures for clients.
• Assist clients with SEC reporting.
• Resolve complex accounting issues.
• Assist clients with implementing new accounting pronouncements, including ASC 606 and ASC 842.
• Perform other duties as required.
