About The Position

This role is responsible for supporting clients with various tasks within the accounting and finance functions. The position involves functioning in various capacities such as Accounting Manager, Controller, or Project Manager for clients, preparing miscellaneous accounting reports, and participating in ad hoc projects. The role also requires overseeing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, performing due diligence procedures, assisting with SEC Reporting, and resolving complex accounting issues, including the implementation of new accounting pronouncements like ASC606 and ASC842.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, required
• Five (5) or more years related experience, required
• Experience working with public, private or private equity companies, required
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks or SAP, required
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook, required
• Technical skills commensurate with level of experience
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism even under pressure
• Team player and contribute knowledge as well as ask for help
• Fast learner and able to work ethically and effectively
• Strong interpersonal and oral and written communications skills with ability to effectively interact with customers at all levels of customers’ and internal organization
• Continually strive to improve inter-personal, management, functional, and technical skills set

Nice To Haves

• Public Accounting experience, preferred
• Experience with MS Excel at advanced level, preferred
• CPA, preferred
• Ability to travel minimum of 50%, preferred

Responsibilities

• Functions in various capacities including Accounting Manager, Controller, or Project Manager for clients
• Manages multiple client stakeholders simultaneously
• Prepares miscellaneous accounting reports
• Participates in various ad hoc projects
• Oversees all aspects of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing
• Performs due diligence procedures for clients
• Assists clients with SEC Reporting
• Resolves complex accounting issues, and assist clients with implementation of new accounting pronouncements including ASC606 and ASC842
